The NEON SAINTS Brass Band are a 12-piece brass band originating from Brighton, England, combining funk, soul, jazz and hip-hop with the second line (parades) tradition of New Orleans. The band was formed in 2013, and in 2014, their song 'Coming Out The Door' was featured as part of Jazz FM (UK)'s coverage of Love Supreme Festival and was broadcast live on Nigel Williams (broadcaster) Saturday show. In 2015, the band have had two major releases - a debut single 'Money' was released worldwide on July 16, 2015 and their album 'Show Me Something' followed in October. == Instrumentation == The NEON SAINTS are made up of 8 brass players, two drummers, and two lead vocalists. The brass section includes two tenor saxophones, three Bb trumpets, a slide trombone, sousaphone and marching trombone - which once belonged to John Entwistle from The Who.
